The November drinks once again attracted real estate professionals to the Pump Room like flies to a pile of ... well anyway. The mood was very upbeat despite the fairly dire outlook for real estate investments globally. Perhaps it was due to the the market, but the discussion focussed less on business and more on a variety of topics, ranging from suburbs of New York, to living in Singapore, to the quality of local dim sum including US politics, the historic Obama victory and what it means for the global investment markets.
A new attendance record was set once again and we faced a new kind of challenge since not even the largest table at Pump Room was big enough for us. People from Pacific Star won the award for the maximum turnout that night (3 people). We coped admireably by standing up and circulating around the table. We are welcoming suggestions for alternative venues in Clarke Quay, so pl. drop us a line.
Luckily Michelle brought her camera along - thanks a lot!!! Although Zach & Naom are missing from the pic. It was great meeting Kyung, Eric, Jasson, Naom and Zach who joined us for the first time. We hope to see everyone again next month, including those who were unable to make it this time around.
Cheers!
