We had another round of an interactive evening at The Pump Room. The evening started over crisp lager...., discussing how we all had common friends - 6 degrees of separation!!! We discussed investment opportunities and deal flow in Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and India, discussed Blackstone's latest acquisiton of Hilton Hotels for $26bn, another colossal acquisiton by them after Equity Office.
We compared notes about Singapore's strong economic position, analysed factors driving its growth and discussed the burgeoning residential capital & rental values across Singapore, the eminent question "To Buy or Not To Buy"...., still a question???
The music and ambience was awesome, seated next to the bar we received special treatment..., I recommend the Bohemian Lager.
Next month, we hope to meet at 6.30pm as per Amit's suggestion, so keep a look out for our next invitation.
